Big Eyes

When I first saw this movie I was very surprised. Because not like a film by Tim Burton.

It is a good movie, but there are too many dialogues are catering to the audience and that dialogue make audiences Lough all the time. The topic is very serious.

If I were Tim Burton, I would prefer to put it into a thriller, not a comedy.

This is a simple story and finally the film just tells everyone a story and tell us, we need to be brave to face the difficulties and to defend their rights by means of the law.

It is a very successful feature film, but there is no deep meaning can dig up.

Interviewed in GDAD Show

Today we visited the GDAD show in UCA. That is very helpful.

In that GADA show, I find a girl who are study product. So I interview her and ask some question on that sheet.

Her exhibition is not a real product, her final major project look like a concept. She think time is a practical and yet mysterious thing. People count time from second, minute, hour, day, week, month and year. And her video presents humorous and annoying performances, whose rhythm moves between fast or slow, as I completed routine tasks in daily life. This unstable rhythm allows for a comparison normal speed emphasizing the idea of time wasting and fast-forward corresponding to a sense of reality. This is my favorite one in that GDAD show.

Maker Movement

“Maker” everyone can be a maker in your life. Maker is do not need invent a new thing, you just need make something can help you or something you interesting in.

Many people always said I want to make a product and that product can solve this this and this problem. Maybe the product is already in their minds but they never make it come true. That is the problem I always have. Why I did not make them come to life? My excuse is that I do not have enough tools and this is not my project for University why I need do that? That is absolutely wrong.

In this modern society, we have too much technology products. That make us do have enough motivation to make something by our self than before.

As a designer we can not loss this motivation, maybe the great ideas will come out when you are making some ridiculous things.

Evaluation and Reflection

According these two weeks’ study. I find I need do more practice on my English because this is the most important thing for an over seas student.

This project is a group work and we try our best to did it well. But there also have some problem especially me.

In this project we do not have a good time management. We did a lot things in last few days but luckily we did it really well.

Most of our researches were some writing maybe we need some images in our research that can make people east to understand.

To sum up is the first time work in a group and it is good begin.

First project in the UK

I am nearly finished my first project in 5 weeks pre-sessional course. I am a very lucky guy because I meet a lot of good group members and they have a strong ability. As the youngest person in this group they have a lot of my worth learning places.

This is the first time I work in a group and I have never create a fine art work in my life. So this is a very special experience for me. In this project I learned many things with tutor and members for example how to do a great presentation and how to make a beautiful power point.

I need to say thanks to my members and our group’s leader Cindy because they help me to be success in my first presentation in Margate what a special experience I will remember this all my life.
